When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son.
2 “I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man, 3 and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go
When we look at our society today we cannot help but see how everyone is consumed with the desire to be successful. There ¡s absolutely nothing wrong with having a desire to be successful.
For the word of God makes it clear that God Himself is very interested in us being successful.
God is so interested in each of us being successful in whatever we do. He has given us some simple keys to becoming successful. There is absolutely nothing complicated about a child of God being successful in life, for God always makes it simple.
The first key to being successful is to be strong. lf you are going to be successful in anything you have to do at least three things:
Success will cost us something
Be a Man
The second key to being successful is to be a man. Literally, be who God made You to be.
- Undeniably made by God
- Uniquely made to be successful
Be a reflection of Gods’ glory:
- Be a person of intelligence
- Be a person of integrity
- Be a person of influence
Be Obedient to Gods. Word
The final key to being successful is for us to be obedient to the word of God.
lf you keep Gods’ word, Gods’ word will keep you
